What We Expect of Realtors
Patterson Homes' expectation of Realtors is for you to show our product and - if we can meet your client's needs - let us help you sell a Patterson home! Be assured that we both have the same objective - to sell real estate and we see you as a critical part of that process. As such our Sales Staff is prepared and trained to show you our products and communicate directly with you and your client(s) in their home purchase needs.
In this effort it is important that you:
- Communicate to our Sales Representative how best to help you sell our product.
Patterson Homes understands that each client is different, with differing needs and desires, and we look to you in helping us meet those needs. We can step up or step back at your direction. Our goals is to not only be your client's builder, but to the best builder!
- Communicate immediately any concerns or problems you or your client may have.
Patterson Homes cannot solve a concern if we are unaware of it. In this we look to you to relate any concerns. Lastly, when you see a problem we simply ask that you work with us and be part of the solution in resolving the problem … and not against us. Through your positive influence we can, not only make the sale, but also make the home buying/building process enjoyable for all of us!
- Stay in touch with your client's lender.
You must keep you finger on your client's lending pulse. Hopefully you are using one of our Preferred Lenders who will greatly assist you in the lending, appraisal and documentation process as well as offering your client significant advantages and cost savings! However, if you remove our preferred lender and/or do not stay in touch with the lender, too often the home is completed, appraisals are short, the closing process is delayed, and buyer frustration increases. Be assured Patterson Home's Sales Representatives, Preferred Lenders and Preferred Title Companies are all here to see that the financing and closing is a smooth and timely process.
- Use and follow our many aids and suggestions noted here under our REALTOR section. Years of experience has provided Patterson Homes with its strong customer service and high customer/realtor satisfaction. We strongly encourage you and your client(s) to take advantage of our experience by following these proven guidelines.
- Give us any suggested improvements.
Patterson Homes is constantly improving our product and customer service. Your experience and knowledge helps us be better and build better … and in the end helps you sell more Patterson homes!
- Review and encourage your client to review our web site's Article Library - specifically the 3 Phases of Construction so they can know what to expect and when. Educating buyers of the building process and creating correct buyer expectations of building schedules, construction standards and warranties is a builder's greatest challenge.
